The guys are getting back together — to watch the big game.

Michigan's famed "Fab Five" will reunite to host an alternate broadcast of Michigan's national semifinal game against Arizona, to be broadcast on TruTV and HBO Max, TBS Sports and CBS Sports announced Thursday afternoon.

The alternate broadcast will feature live commentary from all five members of the "Fab Five": Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Jimmy King, Ray Jackson and Juwan Howard, who also is the former head coach for Michigan. The broadcast will be hosted by sports broadcaster Adam Lefkoe.

TBS Sports and CBS Sports say the broadcast will feature "real-time reactions, unique perspectives on the game, and untold stories and candid reflections from their historic run at Michigan."

The "Fab Five" led Michigan to back-to-back NCAA Tournament championship games, in 1992 and 1993, though both teams lost, to Duke and North Carolina, respectively.

Michigan (35-3) is looking for its second national championship in men's basketball; the first was 1989. The Wolverines play Arizona (36-2) around 8:49 p.m. Saturday, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The main broadcast will be on TBS and TNT. In the other semifinal, Illinois (28-3) will play Connecticut (33-5) at 6:09 p.m. Saturday. The national championship game is set for Monday night.

Reunions for the "Fab Five" have been scarce over the years, with some strained relationships amid the fallout from the booster scandal that led to most of the 1992 and 1993 wins being vacated, and Michigan still refusing to hang the Final Four banners from those years at Crisler Center. Reunions have been more frequent in recent years.

The five highly decorated high-school basketball stars were freshmen together when they arrived on Michigan's campus in 1991, and they became a cultural phenomenon, for their talents and their black socks.

King and Jackson played four years at Michigan, Rose and Howard three years, and Webber two years.
