ESPN recently ranked all 32 projected starting lineups in the NFL and for the Pittsburgh Steelers, they checked in at No. 19. This received somewhat mixed reviews by Steelers fans and we decided to give the whole list a closer look at offer up our three big takeaways.
I'd love to see these same rankings split between offense and defense because ESPN is highlighting just how forgettable the Steelers offense is by giving it no mention in their analysis. The Steelers defense is going to once again have to carry this team until the offense gels under new head coach Mike McCarthy's system.
New defensive Patrick Graham has already hinted that there's only going to be one inside linebacker on the field in most sets so let's not get too caught up in this being a position of weakness. Whether it's Patrick Queen or Payton Wilson, they will be as good as the defensive line lets them be.
The team has already made it clear that Mason McCormick is the starting left guard this year with him and Troy Fautanu moving over. As for rookie Max Iheanachor, while we do expect him to eventually start, right now it's veteran Dylan Cook on the right, along with Spencer Anderson, not fellow rookie Gennings Dunker, who ESPN has on the left.

Don't overthink inside linebacker

The offensive line is all wrong
The team has already made it clear that Mason McCormick is the starting left guard this year with him and Troy Fautanu moving over.
