The Seattle Seahawks officially lost cornerback Riq Woolen to free agency. Woolen signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles worth up to $15 million. The Seahawks now only have two starting-caliber cornerbacks under contract, having re-signed Josh Jobe to pair with Devon Witherspoon.

The Seahawks must strengthen at cornerback this offseason. Drafting one at No. 32 overall is a strong possibility. John Schneider should also consider bringing in a low-price veteran for depth purposes. We've identified three remaining options in free agency.

Roger McCreary, Los Angeles Rams

The NFC West rival Los Angeles Rams acquired Roger McCreary in a midseason trade. He's an expert nickel corner who has played a ton of slot snaps since entering the league in 2022. With Witherspoon moving around the defensive formation and playing the boundary more often, McCreary would be a nice addition at nickel.

Darrell Baker Jr., Tennessee Titans

Darrell Baker Jr. is a reserve cornerback who played a ton of snaps for the Tennessee Titans in 2024 (628) and 2025 (724) due to recurring injuries. Baker performed admirably this past campaign. He would be a strong CB4 in Seattle who could play a rotational role.

Derion Kendrick, Los Angeles Rams

Derion Kendrick played 10 games for the Seahawks in 2025. He was eventually released and re-joined his former Rams squad. Now available via free agency again, Kendrick could return to Seattle, where he already knows Mike Macdonald's playbook.
