A look back at the 1927 season for the Cardinals​

In 1927, the Cardinals scored points, unlike in 1928, when their only points they scored all season were on a defensive touchdown.

They went 3-7-1 and finished ninth in the 12-team league.

They won two of their first three games but went 1-6-1 over their final eight. They scored double-digit points just once. They were ninth in scoring, averaging 6.3 points per game, and ninth in defense, allowing 12.2 pr game.

They scored 10 total touchdowns, with Ben Jones leading the team with two of them.
