Penn State football has hit a bit of a snag in the recruiting process after a scorching hot start to the cycle. Although things haven’t gone so great as of late, they aren’t letting that stop them from going hard after every prospect they’re interested in.

The Nittany Lions held another round of visits this weekend for high school athletes, and this group appeared to show a lot of interest in the school thanks to some insider reporting. Among the recruits was four-star wide receiver Khalil Taylor, who was committed to Penn State for months last year before James Franklin’s firing forced him to reconsider his decision.

Thankfully, he never eliminated the Nittany Lions as an option and has still been working to improve his relationship with the team. 247Sports insider Brian Dohn released a fresh batch of Crystal Ball predictions this weekend, and Taylor’s visit went so good that the reporter is anticipating a second commitment to Penn State.

BREAKING: National Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn has entered a crystal ball prediction for Penn State to land 27’ 4⭐️ WR Khalil Taylor.

Taylor has been one of the more coveted receivers in his class, so this would be a significant development if it happened. The Pennsylvania native is a multi-sport speedster who runs track in addition to his dominance on the field. He has quite a slender frame, standing at 5-11, 180 pounds, but there is more than enough time for him to fill out.

The Nittany Lions have earned commitments from a number of wide receivers in Taylor’s class already, so him rejoining the fray could give the school one of the best pass-catching units in the nation. Dohn has called his shot on a number of Penn State commits already this year, so hopefully he’s right about this as well.
