The 27th day of the 2026 World Cup features the final set of fixtures in the Round of 16, including a marquee matchup between Argentina’s Lionel Messi and Egypt’s Mohamed Salah at high noon. And, believe it or not, there will be a break in the action after this afternoon’s match between Switzerland and Colombia, as the tournament will take a one-day break before the quarterfinals begin.
