SEATTLE, WASHINGTON - JUNE 15: A Belgium fan reacts before the FIFA World Cup 2026 Group G match between Belgium and Egypt at Seattle Stadium on June 15, 2026 in Seattle, Washington. (Photo by Jane Gershovich/ISI Photos/ISI Photos via Getty Images) | ISI Photos via Getty Images
Day 10 of the 2026 World Cup saw a pair of lopsided scores, with the Netherlands and Japan taking Sweden and Tunisia behind the woodshed by a combined 9-1 scoreline. Incredibly, despite the 5-0 win over the Swedes, Roma’s Dutch forward Donyell Malen didn’t have a hand in any of the goals, taking only 12 touches in 45 minutes. Nevertheless, with four points after two matches, the Oranje are in good shape as the World Cup inches its way towards the Round of 32.
Today’s action brings Groups G and H to the forefront, with matches stretching from Atlanta to Vancouver. We’ll jump back into the rumor mill next week, so for now, enjoy another World Cup Sunday.
