Goals from Esther González and Jordynn Dudley led Gotham FC to the 2026 NWSL Challenge Cup title over Kansas Current.
The 2-0 victory makes it two straight league trophies for the defending NWSL champions.
In the 37th minute, González converted the penalty kick to give Gotham the opening lead.
In the 79th minute, Dudley, the star rookie, put the final touches on the Challenge Cup victory.
The National Women’s Soccer League will now resume regular season play starting next weekend after an extended international break.
