INDYCAR's officiating board confirms that Kyle Novak will continue as the race director, Kevin “Rocket” Blanch remains overseeing tech and Arie Luyendyk and Max Papis will remain as chief stewards. Former Andretti crew chief Nick Allen added as a technical inspection manager.

On street circuits this season, INDYCAR will require teams to use at least two sets of softs and at least one set of primaries. Last year, it was one set of each.
