NFL.com's latest 2026 NFL draft mock has the New York Jets coming away with plenty of talent with their top selections. One pick in particular stands out.

In the first 44 selections, the Jets hold four picks at Nos. 2, 16, 33 and 44. New York could leave the draft with four difference makers with all those selections.

In NFL.com's mock of those slots, linebacker Arvell Reese from Ohio State goes to the Jets first, a popular selection for the team.

From there, Gang Green adds a potential quarterback for the future in Alabama's Ty Simpson at No. 16 overall. Could Simpson be the QB of the future?

NFL.com's full mock breakdown can be found below:

Round 1, pick No. 2: LB Arvell Reese (Ohio State)

NFL.com breakdown:

Reese's size and position versatility afford him an advantage over the Jets' other top option at this spot, David Bailey. The former Buckeye is a tough run defender and explosive pass rusher when given the opportunity.

Round 1, pick No. 16: QB Ty Simpson (Alabama)

NFL.com breakdown:

The Jets need a quarterback, and Simpson is still on the board. There is sufficient depth at receiver and cornerback in this class that the team could address both early in the second round while still securing the second-best passer in the draft in Simpson.

Round 2, pick No. 33: DT Peter Woods (Clemson)
