The start of the 2026 NFL Draft is now less than two weeks away, and teams are working hard to narrow down their targets. The Tennessee Titans are busy doing just that today, hosting multiple prospects on their local pro day.
As each day passes, more information continues to trickle out, with most of it centered on the first round, where the Titans have the fourth overall selection. At this point, there is no clear favorite for the Titans to select, although what happens in the three picks in front of them will have a major impact.
That was one of the topics today on ESPN, where Matt Miller, Field Yates, and Jordan Reid touched on the latest draft buzz they are hearing, and here are the points they hit for the Titans.
This does seem to be a trend with different outlets narrowing the Titans' targets to Bailey, Love, and Reese, with linebacker Sonny Styles gaining some late momentum. With all signs pointing to Bailey going No. 2 to the New York Jets, what happens at No. 3 with the Arizona Cardinals will have a significant impact. The big question is who Mike Borgonzi would choose between Love and Reese, and currently, it feels like the odds would be in Love’s favor.
That wasn’t the only buzz connected to the Titans; they also came up when talking about the unpredictability of the draft.
This is the dilemma in this draft. By most metrics, Jeremiah Love sits at the top of this draft class, but his positional value as a running back doesn’t align with the traditional view of how prospects are viewed during the draft cycle. This reality will be a challenge for general managers like Borgonzi to navigate.

Which pick beyond No. 1 are you most certain on right now?
Miller on Titans: I don't feel higher than 75% confidence in any pick outside of No. 1 right now, but if the Titans find themselves at No. 4 with Arvell Reese and David Bailey off the board, I would expect Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love to be the selection. And he might be the pick regardless of who is available based on how active the Titans were in adding pass rushers this offseason. Love will go somewhere in the top five, and I think Tennessee has eyes on pairing him with quarterback Cam Ward.

And which pick are you the most uncertain on?
Yates on Titans and New York Giants: I'll offer two in back-to-back spots, as the Titans and Giants offer a couple of similar dynamics (Nos. 4 and 5, respectively). Each team has a second-year quarterback and ambitions to make a leap this year, but neither has a dominant running back that takes drafting Love off the table. He is my No. 2 overall prospect and perhaps the best bet to become a Pro Bowler early in his career, but would either team eschew needs at other more premium positions to take a running back? Where Love goes in the top 10 is one of the biggest questions people around the league have wondered about for months.
