Tournament outlook
- DEFENDING CHAMPION - Ellington
- TOP PLAYERS - Jack Curtis, Ellington, Jr., G/F; Reese Nichol, Ellington, Soph., G; Eric Jordan, Coventry, Jr., G; Colin Tozier, Stafford, Sr., G.; Andrew Czerwinski, Somers, Jr., G; Jake Teclaw, Granby, Jr., G
- FAVORITE - Ellington
- DARK HORSES - Stafford, Granby
- OUTLOOK - Ellington was able to prevent a fifth-straight league championship going to SMSA last year. Ellington won all three of its league tournament games last year by single digits. The Knights have won all of its NCCC contests by double digits and SMSA now plays in the Greater Hartford Conference. But Ellington comes in after having its 46-game winning streak snapped at Old Lyme. Still, it's hard to see anyone pulling off the upset here.
- MORELLI'S PICK - Ellington over Stafford.
