As the Philadelphia 76ers move forward under the watchful eye of new President of Basketball Operations Mike Gansey, they will look ahead to the draft and see if they can add another young piece to the roster. The Sixers will be looking to add some more helpful rotation players as they take the next steps in the East.
Philadelphia does hold the No. 22 pick in the 2026 NNBA draft thanks to the Jared McCain trade orchestrated by Daryl Morey, who was ousted after six seasons as the team's head of basketball operations, and there will be plenty of options to choose from in a deep draft.
A mock draft performed by Bleacher Report has the Sixers selecting Houston big man Chris Cenac Jr. at 22:
Cenac averaged 9.5 points and 7.9 rebounds with the Cougars in 2025-26 as he used his size and athleticism to make an impact on both ends of the floor. He will need to develop more on the offensive end in the NBA, but if the Sixers were to take him with this pick, he would immediately be a part of the team's nightly rotation.

Despite flaws in Chris Cenac's statistical profile, there will be teams willing to bet on a 19-year-old with his 6'10" (barefoot) size, 7'5" wingspan, 240-pound frame, shooting confidence and motor.
He'll be a popular reach candidate for teams looking to fill gaps and aren't concerned with finding high-upside scorers.
