Alex Bowman said he was dizzy and throwing up on himself at COTA. Said he thought at the time that might be it for him. He said doctors have OK'd him to race and so he wanted to come back as soon as he could and Bristol is one of his best tracks.

Christopher Bell wins at Bristol, 3,121 days since his last Truck Series victory, the fifth longest time between wins by a driver in series history

This also marks the first win for the 62 truck since Steve Park won at California in February 2005

Five cars failed twice during NASCAR Cup Series inspection at Bristol.

Kyle Larson, Ross Chastain, Cole Custer and Chad Finchum lost their car chiefs and pit selection.

Michael McDowell lost his engineer and pit selection.

Alex Bowman does have a waiver from NASCAR to remain eligible for the playoffs. He still would have to finish top-16 in the regular-season standings.

Alex Bowman is one of my fav drivers, actually all 4 Hendricks drivers are my favorites…. and I sure hope Alex will be well enough to race at Bristol tomorrow!!

-- Crashed at Daytona, finished 40th
-- Finished 23rd at Atlanta
-- Had to get out of the car at COTA with vertigo, finished 36th
-- Missed four races
-- Returned at Bristol, collected by JHN in SVG incident, will finish 34th or worse today

Kyle Larson has now swept the stages in three of the last four Bristol races.

Today is the 15th time Larson swept the stages in a Cup race, he has won eight of the last nine times he's done so.

Stage lengths for Cup at Talladega will be 98-45-45. Without needing to stop in the each of the final two stages for fuel, the hope is there will be less fuel saving.

Bubba Wallace will start 10th tomorrow. He was 2nd in practice, 1st in consecutive 10 lap averages, really looking for top 5 speed and a top 5 finish this weekend.
