The 2026 MLS All-Star Skills Challenge takes place on Tuesday when the best players from Major League Soccer and Liga MX compete in different events to see who comes out on top.
The Skills Challenge serves as an appetizer for Wednesday's All-Star Game, which will see a team of MLS stars face Liga MX stars at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
A big change to this year's Skills Challenge is that it's no longer a team-versus-team competition. Instead, an individual winner will be decided for the first four events. The finale will see MLS take on Liga MX in a team relay challenge that will blend together elements of all the previous events.
A few MLS stars confirmed to be participating include: Evander (FC Cincinnati), Son Heung-min (LAFC), Zavier Gozo (Real Salt Lake), and Thomas Müller (Vancouver Whitecaps).

In addition to MLS and Liga MX stars, the night will also feature players from MLS Next Pro and celebrities like Chad Ochocinco, Celine Dept, FaZe Rug, and Danny Ramirez.
The four events to decide individual winners include a shooting challenge where players aim to destroy targets set up on the goal line for points within 60 seconds. There will also be a passing challenge in which participants need to strike various targets around the field with a pass.
The goalkeepers will be involved with Goalie Wars, a beloved MLS tradition of two keepers battling it out head-to-head trying to score on each other. Finally, the crossbar challenge concludes the individual portion of the night before the MLS vs. Liga MX Relay Challenge brings the event to a close.
