If you’re looking for a guy who could play some in the NFL, I think he will. I just don’t see him as strong enough to take a team to the playoffs. The investment required to make him into that role is too much. The timing of the Cards’ QB need is very bad; lousy free agents and a thin draft. I think this is compounded by what I see as a limited depth 2027 QB pool. I think the Cards will win enough games (5-6) to take them out of getting a premium guy. This is why you see the interest in Simpson. He is a gamble, but maybe the best option. I think they will try to maneuver for him if they can. If not things could get even more desperate.
Thanks Harry. i appreciate your analysis on players. You are the best for sure! Hope you don't get discouraged with a few on the Board that are obsessed with negativity on several of the Cards options in the draft. I'v been following the draft for over 70 years and feel it is almost always a gamble especially at qb.

Uh, it's not so valuable when YOU ACTUALLY NEED A STARTER AT THE POSITION. We have tons of below average rotation guys - we're still in desperate need of above average starters.

You're having a different conversation. Of course you need a starter, that's not the topic I'm discussing.

Ive warmed significantly to Bain

kind of a modern James Harrison build and demeanor

The concern with Bailey is setting the edge. He did that well the last few games of the season. Worst case scenario is they get a passing rushing specialist.

This tweet is so funny. Hopefully the Cards win more than that.

If it gets us the #1 pick this time, I'll take it. Otherwise, yeah we can always win more. Don't see us winning more than 5 even if we're lucky though, so not much of a difference.

What's another losing year with a potential stacked QB class and a #1 pick? This ain't your Kyler/Jones draft.

Things need to improve for the fans.

I understand the logic of losing (tanking) or whatever one wants to call it, but personally, I've had enough.
