After an exciting season, the following bowlers were selected to the 2026 All-North Jersey boys bowling teams.
The North Jersey Boys Bowler of the Year will be announced at the North Jersey High School Sports Awards show. All first-team bowlers are nominees for Bowler of the Year.
Bergen Tech senior
Bray moves up from the 2025 second team as the Bergen County individual champion. He shot a 750 series in qualifying and a 269 in the title match after averaging 249 in the county team tournament to help the Knights defend their title. His season-long average including the state tournament was 214.
Rutherford senior
Besides leading North Jersey with a 222 average and finishing seventh at the Bergen individual event, Fedarick was indispensible to team success. He set the four-game series record at the county team tournament (1,038), where the Bulldogs placed fourth, and anchored them to their first sectional title.
Old Tappan senior
The ace of the Golden Knight baseball team’s pitching staff is also the school’s top thrower on the lanes, averaging 212 in league play. Kolkebeck led Old Tappan to the North 1, Group 2 sectional semifinals, finished 10th at the Bergen individual tournament and qualified for the state individual finals.
Pascack Valley junior
Mercado repeats on the first team after being chosen to the third team as a freshman, and he led the Panthers to the Bergen Groups 1-2 team crown, first place in the Big North National and a berth in the North 1, Group 2 title match. He averaged 214 in league play and 221 at the sectional final.
Hasbrouck Heights senior
Now a three-time pick (2024 third team, 2025 first), Muñoz upped his average by 14 pins to 220 and anchored the 21-4 Aviators to second place in the competitive NJIC Meadowlands. He reached the Bergen individual stepladder final and had North Jersey’s best finish (sixth) at the state individual finals.
Bergen Tech junior
Zamora returns to the first team thanks to a 214 average that helped the Knights reclaim their Bergen County and North 1, Group 4 sectional crowns. He placed 12th at the Bergen County individual tournament and 35th in the state field of 100 bowlers, and his top series was an even 800.
