You think Seumalo is "just ok and is 32"? Seriously? He was such an upgrade. These guys are PAID to make decisions and not like spouting off after 3-14 beers and thinking we know. Kurt Warner gives Carson a good evaluation in his Kurt's QB Insider. If Kurt likes him, thats good enough for me.

I'm going to assume MLF is more than onboard with this so I'll give it some room to run but definitely don't love it on its face. I don't think we're necessarily lacking starters but we're lacking *good* starters and those are very difficult to find in the 3rd round so I can see this being a bit of roster construction factoring in.

So Seumalo is a star and starter at LG for the next 10 yrs? And really the guys getting PAID to make those decisions haven't done a great job, that's why we drafted 3rd in this draft.

I'm agnostic on Beck. Not crazy about the pick, but honestly, this draft is so weak even into the 3rd round that I don't feel like they missed out on some major talent.

God forbid things work out where the Cardinals have two good young quarterbacks on their roster. What a disaster that would be!
This doesn't make sense because by this time next year how are we going to know if this "works out". He's not going to start 10 games and give us a definitive answer one way or another.
Obviously I'll root for him, but the timing doesn't make sense.

You are correct, sir. However, in all fairness this was the MOST INJURED roster in the entire NFL and all season. Heck, they were playing practice squad guys and street FAs. The question should be, how much more competitive would they have been if key guys had NOT gotten injured? We'll never know. But I'll work on doin better.
