Yall acting like monti burned the 1st pick of the draft. It’s a 3rd round flyer - everyone chill. It’s a weak qb class and monti already mucked up free agency for QB. We need a flyer. Best case- he lights it up, worst case we are drafting a qb in 2027 and only lost one 3rd round pick.

So many of yall ready to torch the kid - guess what- of our current QBs he is the only one with some potential upside.

I Know nothing about him, but seeing a few comments about his attitude and personality; at least we've brought him in for a Top 30 to get to know him better plus we've just appointed two U of Miami coaches, who even though not OC or QB coaches, they would have red flagged this pick if he was such a bell end as claimed to be.

sounds like he's been to hell and beck - horrible injury - didn't give up - went beck to school - came beck stronger which shows imbeckable character (imo) - good feet too - can throw on the run - nice beck peddle - resbecktable size - can see over the line - not a statue like brissett but isn't afraid to stand in the pocket and take a hit - i think that's how he got injured

It should show people we have zero expectations of being anything but a bottom feeder team.

I said I don't like him and didn't want to draft him.

But, what do we have at QB beyond 2026? Absolutely NOTHING.

I don't think anyone doubts the mental side of Beck as far as learning an offense and reading defenses.

So, let's say we pick #1 next year and take Trinidad Chambliss (or whoever is that guy). Then, on paper, you have QB locked down for three years while you hope Chambliss turns into a stud.

But for this year? Yeah, it blows.

It's picks like this why the team continues to suck. Draft a backup project QB in the 3rd when the roaster is Swiss cheese. Roaster building doesn't seem to be one of Monti's strong points.
