9, because QB.
Not even defending Kyler, but I genuinely don’t understand how you see a 1 game improvement considering the strides from the cast the past two seasons & assuming the vastly improved defense.

Kyler can play like he did last season & yet there should at least be two extra wins due to the defense themselves.

Are you talking out of hate?

The Cardinals definitely have a more favorable schedule this year with the NFC South and AFC South teams making up 8 of their 17 games. I'll guess that they go 6-2 at home and 4-5 on the road for a total record of 10-7.

I said 10. I think 7 is the floor and 12 is the ceiling. (barring injuries and the like)

So super psyched to watch our team this year!

Love the way MO is building the roster. Methodical. Calculated.

Love the culture JG has created. Not even a hint of a player or coach stepping out of line in the last 2+ years.

A 10 win season in NFL is hard, but I think this team will do it!

You know who they play, so why do you need the schedule? Home field advantage/disadvantage?
They know the home and road opponents also. It’s really about when you play. Back-to-back road games are tough; games after a bye week are easier.

10-11 would be my best bet.
Easier schedule, massively improved defense and development from 2nd and 3rd year players. should give 2-3 more wins.

I'm taking a "show me" stance. Until Kyler can win any sort of clinching game, I will not give him the benefit of the doubt. Because the defense can be rock stars, but if you get late-season Kyler again, it won't matter one jot. Fingers crossed!

  • Atlanta Falcons - W - not buying penix stock
  • Carolina Panthers - W - vengeance game
  • Jacksonville Jaguars - W - Travis hunter can't make this team good
  • Tennessee Titans - W - no explanation needed
  • Green Bay Packers - L - this game could be a win if the defense terrorizes love, but Kyler just as likely to have a PTSD meltdown facing the Packers
  • Los Angeles Rams- W- I think we split
  • San Francisco 49ers - W - niners took a huge step back
  • Seattle Seahawks - W - will be tough - but Sam darnold is not going to have an hour to throw this time around

ROAD

  • Houston Texans - L - this game is going to be a very physical bruiser
  • Indianapolis Colts - W - disaster franchise
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers - W - Tampa is sliding
  • New Orleans Saints - W - disaster franchise
  • Dallas Cowboys - W - Kyler always plays wells in Dallas
  • Cincinnati Bengals - L - burrows has our number
  • Los Angeles Rams - L - split
  • San Francisco 49ers - W - sweep
  • Seattle Seahawks - L - Kyler can't win in this stadium.
I took a puff of hopium, if we can beat the injury bug this year I could see us at 12 win this year.

Let's see how the waiver wire goes with cuts for wr and OG first. They need to keep trying out guards; as many as possible and maybe sign a Scherff or vet to make a run for the playoffs this year. Keep trying out wrs too. Weaver was undrafted, Wilson is ok but they need a #2 wr. Then, maybe we can talk playoffs. 49ers, Seahawks and Rams are going to be pretty good teams. The Cards defense could propel them to a surprise fast start, but they have to finish...something they have been not very good at most years.
