The Los Angeles Rams went defense with their second selection in the 2025 NFL Draft when they took Michigan edge rusher Josaiah Stewart.
The 6-foot-1, 249-pounder from the Bronx, New York, has been a sack machine during his time at Coastal Carolina and then Michigan. Stewart finished with 30 career sacks in 51 games, including 8.5 in 2024. He also had 13 tackles for a loss this past season and 48 in his career.
Fans were relatively happy with the pick despite positional needs elsewhere. Stewart's production and pedigree are a highlight for him as he know nows a solid defensive front with Jared Verse, Byron Young and Braden Fiske.

Idk much about Stewart but haven’t seen much of anything negative about em, Saban loved em too, seems like a good pick, 2 good picks in a row!

What the hell is Les doing. Another poor pick. Give me a break.

Comp'd to Azeez Ojulari. DPR? I'm always happy to add edge depth. https://t.co/QYlMkpaRxi
