Ashton Jeanty is headed to the NFL after the Las Vegas Raiders drafted the former Boise State running back at No. 6 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft on Thursday.

Jeanty is the total package. He’s got incredible contact balance, patience, and that extra dose of burst and agility you only see from the truly great running backs. While Saquon Barkley has probably lifted the stigma on overvaluing runners, Jeanty is also a classic Davis family pick through and through. If we’re being candid, he was born to be a Raider. Nonetheless, he’s a flashy but effective star who should fit in seamlessly as Geno Smith stuffs the ball into his chest 20-plus times a game. And don’t think Pete Carroll will ever ease up on his workload.
Get your Offensive Rookie of the Year bets in now. Shoot, maybe even think Pro Bowl. Whatever initial ceiling you have for Jeanty, it likely isn’t high enough.
