Justin Martinez was quite a boost today. Took the L by giving up 2 runs in the bottom of the 8th of yet another 1 run DBacks loss. Cards sweep coming tomorrow as the DBacks spiral down in the NL West - at least they will stay ahead of the Rockies and won't finish last in the division. Lovullo should be gone after tomorrow. And just because some of the bullpen arms come off the IL, it doesn't mean the bullpen is any better. Get busy, Hazen.

Yeah, let's not talk about defense. Last year Thomas and Walker were our best defensive players. Walker is gone. We can't afford to lose Thomas' defense. We proved we can put up runs. We need defense too.
