2021 - Prove It
It was +1000 in October.Way too early is right. Who had Cam Ward going #1 overall last year?
Would’ve loved to have that prop bet.

I do believe Lomax and Palmer were on Kurt’s level if not for injuries.Kurt took us to within a ******** call of a Lombardi.
He is da man.
Don't forget about Fitz's incredible postseason that year.Kurt took us to within a ******** call of a Lombardi.

He deserves a lot of credit for getting us to the SuperBowl that year as well. The best performance during the playoffs for a WR i have ever seen.Don't forget about Fitz's incredible postseason that year.He deserves a lot of credit for getting us to the SuperBowl that year as well.

I think you mean Kurt at the end. By the time he got to AZ he’d lost what little mobility he had and his arm strength was declining. That said he may well be the best QB since they moved to AZ. In STL Warner was awesome. He and Peyton Manning were in a class of their own when it came to reading defenses and moving audibly to the best play option. They constantly embarrassed defenses, often making them look amateurish. Had Lomax not been injured, he had the potential to be great. Palmer finally got the right coach when he got to AZ, but it was too late for him to rebuild his career. Like Lomax, injury closed his fate. Murray, as he stands, is one of the great running QBs ever. A better WR corps and a dominant OL could have made his future easier. All things considered he have to raise his game to a higher level to be fondly remembered. He’s been exciting, occasionally special, but he’s never achieved the needed consistency to be regarded as outstanding at QB IMO.I do believe Lomax and Palmer were on Kurt’s level if not for injuries.
Like you, I’m old enough to have watched the best Cardinal QB’s from the early 60’s on:I think you mean Kurt at the end. I mean AZ Cardinals Kurt, same with Palmer.I think you mean Kurt at the end.
I’ll be disappointed with more than 4 lossesLike you, I’m old enough to have watched the best Cardinal QB’s from the early 60’s on:
Charley Johnson
Jim Hart
Neil Lomax
Jake
Warner
Palmer
Murray
It was a different game back then, but Charley Johnson was a damn good QB. Unfortunately, whenever he got close to being considered elite, he would get hurt. If Hart had Coryell for a longer stretch of time, he would be in the HOF. I always considered Lomax to be better than Hart. His 84 season was impressive. Another Cardinal QB who has HOF potential if not for the career ending injury. Kurt and Palmer were only here for a cup of coffee, but it was fun having them. Murray is only 28, so he’s in the best position to own every Cardinal QB record before he leaves. Hell, I’m not sure anyone even knew who Kurt Warner was when he was 28. If our D is as good as it appears to be, it’ll be the only time, other than the first 7 games of 2021, that Kyler has had a defense that can set him up with short fields. And that will matter a bunch. I also expect MHJ to improve a ton, as his rookie season was pedestrian at best. I’ll be surprised and disappointed if the 2025 Cardinals, barring major injuries, are not a team to be reckoned with.
The question for us though is, can Zach Branch play bigger than he is? Because we all know we dont need any 5'8" 160 pound WR's and at 5'10 and 180 Branch is a tweener on size...not exactly small but certainly not a "Big" WRNo idea if he even comes out he's a junior but my I'd like that kid from 4th round on pick for next draft is WR Zachariah Branch now of Georgia. First 2 years were at USC, he's been more of a kick returner than WR USC always had upperclassmen ahead of him and has been bringing in highly rated transfers too.
He's one of those super laterally quick guys I have no idea what his 40 time is but expect it to be really good. in 2023 they clocked him at almost 26mph on a treadmill for a few seconds, that's pretty close to world class sprinter although he's NOT a sprinter. Only 3 receiving TD's in 2 years, and he's small but I think he's a guy who ends up being a pretty good NFL player. If the name sounds familiar his great uncle was Cliff Branch the Raiders deep threat WR in the Stabler years. Ran a 10.33 100M in HS, one of the fastest guys in college football. I expect him to have a bit of a breakout year this year at Georgia I suspect they got him to feature him more than USC was.

The kid has averaged 40 catches his first two years in school...thats pretty damned solid.. Getting playing time as a freshman, at a major school no less, is no small thing but 10 yards per catch does not seem to indicate a speed threat...unless SC has been giving him the Rondale Moore treatment?? Dropping him the ball on bubble screens?
The kid needs to explode at Georgia...or have an elite combine. Because there is just nothing about him that Pops.
But keep your eyes open for Mark "Baby Bowl Cut" Davis to start maneuvering in the draft. They really like their Legacies...and Cliff Branch was a serious Raider...I would not be surprised at all to see Davis draft the kid a full round before he is projected.

Archie Manning says Arch 'isn't going to' leave Texas for 2026 NFL Draft
Both Peyton and Eli Manning played four years of college football before entering the NFL Draft. Arch is set to begin his third season at Texas in 2025.sports.yahoo.com
He also doesn't want to come out in a class with several top QB'sReally no reason for him to come out early with the amount of NIL money he is probably going to cash in on this season.
The only thing Arch has, other than the name, is the best coaching and QB camps money can buy. We'll shall see what that money bought himPeople are acting like Arch is John Elway coming out.
He hasn’t played a game against any defense in his limited career.
He might be great but let’s see it first. If his name was Arch Smith, there’d be no talk at all about him.
All true, but he IS a Manning, not a Smith lol. I agree we need to see it first, but the Manning genes do flow through his veins. And that does matter.People are acting like Arch is John Elway coming out.

He’s actually a mobile Manning. All true, but he IS a Manning, not a Smith lol. I agree we need to see it first, but the Manning genes do flow through his veins. And that does matter.
The NFL absolutely loves their legaciesAll true, but he IS a Manning, not a Smith lol. I agree we need to see it first, but the Manning genes do flow through his veins. And that does matter.
Arch looking rough so far.
