Warriors beat the Spurs

Spurs three losses - Lakers by 2, Warriors by 5, Suns by 12

Posted it on another thread just unreal. Before the game the Warriors tv guys said they had lunch with Steph today and he was still sick, had to excuse himself during the meal. They said he's going to play tonight but we don't know how long. Warriors were down 16, getting killed, Castle was destroying steph(and holding him nonstop on defense). Steph made a flukey 3 off 1 foot missed the other 5. And then the 3rd he went nuts, 22 points, they came all the way back and won.

They do have issues they're too old and too small. They played Green, Butler, Steph, Moody and Payton in the 4th Q and then put Podz in for Payton. Spurs had 2 7 footers but Warriors hit enough 3's to win, Butler hit 5 which I think is a career best

Horford was better tonight but looks washed, GP2 was good tonight but again looks washed, and Buddy Hield completely washed. Kuminga sat the entire 2nd half, healthy too so it appears he may be benched

OKC looks legit better than last year and they're not even fully healthy. Isaiah Joe is having a breakout year, always a great shooter reached another level this year

Steph is just insane. 46 last game comes back for 49 tonight stole two games over SA. That block by Wemby at the end was like the LeBron block on Iggy, Steph behind the back to Butler running start going to be a layup and somehow Wemby blocked it. But Steph drew a foul to win the game.

I was watching the Warriors on my laptop and UCLA and UA on TV.

At least one of my teams won

Watching Steph when he’s on never gets old.

Fortunately Draymond is the easy-going, level headed kind of guy who will quickly forget all about this. But if I were the Spurs, I might look into adding some more insurance on Wemby.

Dray said he could slow down Shaq LOL

IMO dray was good but mainly due to the soft era ball. Anyone in the 80,90, up to 2005’s would have bullied the crap out of him physically, maybe even mentally with his fake tough guy antics.

Draymond would have been kicked by now if Stern were still the commish. Silver is a wuss and handles players like toddlers. Draymond had some talent early on but he's been allowed and rewarded for his reckless antics too often that those antics have taken over his game.

Crazy ending in Philly tonight . Warriors came from 20 down to take the lead by 1. They had to inbounds the ball twice due to fouls on the 2nd one Hield messed up the play and ran right into the play and his defender Edgecombe tipped the pass away for a steal. they inbound to Maxey who takes a 15 foot jumper that Melton blocks, but Edgecombe catches the airball in flight and tips it in. Hield makes an amazing play grabs the ball and throws length of the court to Melton who has to shoot on the run as the clock is almost up, takes off from 5 feet away left handed layup and Maxey makes an amazing block from behind to save it. Near as I could tell the shot was legal if it went in it counted but Maxey made the block

Amazing finish. Maxey with an incredible block at the end. A heartbreaking loss by the Warriors to come from that far back.

I'm glad the Suns don't have that announcer.

Yeah the announcer was pretty bad.

the play by play on ESPN was bad they originally said 2 point shot by Maxey is good with .2 seconds left end of game. Took several minutes to update it to Edgecombe not Maxey and then add in the block at the end.

Tough for Buddy he totally messed up the inbounds causing the steal, you can see the inbounder yelling at him after it happened. But then he makes a great play to throw the long inbound only to have Maxey make the play.Warriors fans are saying Melton should have dunked it but I think if he did the clock would have expired it was like .4 when he let it go

Can't find fault on a bang-bang play like that at the end with De'Anthony Melton.

If it wasn't for a great defensive play by Maxey, the Warriors win.

LeBron’s streak ends - 8 points in 35 minutes

Have to add this video.

Lebron could have taken the final shot but passed the ball to what proved to be the winning basket.
