Still have to look at the overall season which was a surprise and a success. We may very well peter out in the play-in/playoffs and that may be disappointing but we have something to build on going forward.

The idea we are almost talking about the Suns in past tense mode is disappointing. What is broken, IMO, is the Suns defense and rebounding. These are fixable, but I'm not seeing it happen. This is the most concerning going forward, not that it necessarily would translate into wins. However, the effort should always be there.

at the same time, they're what... .500 in their last 30 games or something like that? I think the beginning of the season really screwed with our expectations.

if you had told me by the end of the year this club was consistently playing .500 ball, I'd be ecstatic considering where I thought they would be.

and we have seen real development, especially from Malauch, who I've got to believe is our Day 1 starter next year. As for blowing 2 first round picks on Williams? If we get into the playoffs, I look at those as the cost of getting our really young guys immediate experience and building a playoff mindset as a foundation for the future.

The development of Khaman Maluach, Rasheer Fleming and Collin Gillespie have been bright spots in the season.
