Brugler just released his new top 50. Good info and some different views than what is out there.

3 - Abdul Carter EDGE
7 - Jalon Walker EDGE
8 - Mykel Williams EDGE
9 - Mason Graham DL
12 - James Pearce Jr EDGE
14 - Derrick Harmon DL
15 - Shamar Stewart DL
17 - Nic Scourton EDGE
19 - Tyliek Williams DL
20 - Walter Nolan DL
24 - JT Tuimoloau EDGE
25 - Kenneth Grant DL
31 - Landon Jackson EDGE
34 - Deone Walker DL
37 - Mike Green EDGE (Khalil Mack vibes)
43 - Jack Sawyer EDGE
48 - Kyler Kennard EDGE
even making the playoffs, the Cards could easily come out of the next draft with two players from that list

Mason Graham in rd 1 followed by Mike Green in the 2nd would be a monstrous score...especially if Beej Oju stays healthy and Darius Robinson is what I expect...oh boyoboy

SLEEPER ALERT:
@UCLAFootball
LB Carson Schwesinger (6020e, 233e) is highly instructive former walk-on, first-year starter who's gotten better every week on tape. Light-footed athlete plays fast and has knack for navigating box & knifing into backfield. Redshirt junior could be Day 2 pick with good spring process. Bioengineering major is also Butkus & Burlsworth Award semifinalist.

Avoid JT T. He’s all athletic ability but doesn’t have the killer instinct.

Sawyer could be a 2nd-3rd round steal. Was #1 DE coming out of high school. Hasn’t been all that productive compared to hype but they also moved him around a lot in his younger years at LB and inside.
He might be a better pro than college player. No way in round 1 though.

What is Robinson? Is he DE, DT? Is he a guy we move around from play to play?
we will/should/could use Darius Robinson exactly like we used JJ Watt... inside, outside...1, 3, 5 technique...all pending situational football and what other personnel we can put on the field with him

I am really starting to like James Pearce Jr for us in the first round.... thinking this kid is the next Chandler Jones...and a good fit for our pass rush front.
but we might have to trade down a few spots to get him.

Trade down? Talents like James Pearce, with worldclass developmental potential doesn't fall far. Ossenfort would most likely have to trade up, if he wants Pearce.

Trade down...as in...down to a lower number.
I.e. #17 down to #10

I would love a premium pass rusher. Would be interesting also seeing Monti having traded down, up, stayed pat. He will do whatever is needed
