This year's FA class lacks depth in the "star" category. Trades could be the story of the offseason, especially for ARZ. I could see NYY going after Corbin & Kuechel to bolster their staff.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Yanks make a run at Pollack as well...

I think they would rather go after Harper. Younger and healthier than Pollock but of course will be more expensive. Adding Harper to that lineup would recreate the "Murder's Row" lineup of the 1920's.

Why? Because Morosi thinks he is going to retire? Either Kershaw is re-signing with LA or he is retiring IMO. He won't go anywhere else because LA has a good chance at a third WS appearance, doubt he would be willing to sign with MIL or COL.

Greinke for Ellsbury and a top-5 Yankee prospect. Git r dun.
I would rather NY swap out Ellsbury for Sonny Gray whom NY is rumored to be interested in dealing. My hope is that ARZ is willing to kick in money to entice ATL to deal one of their top young pitching prospects (Gohara, Allard, Wright) for Greinke.

Well yeah but they’re not unloading Greinke unless they take back probably 40+ mil.

Or they kick in $40M of his contract to get a nice prospect package. Even kicking in $40M would save them over $60M over three years not including deferred payments.
