Looking forward to this game. Time to find out if the Niners are contenders or pretenders. Saints will bring it out. Niners have a good D, but Brees is very accurate and has the ability to shred a D.

The 49ers are going to win this. The NFC West has the best winning percentage in the NFC playoffs over the last decade. Get the Saints out of their dome and they are beatable.

The AFC North has the best winning percentage in the playoffs in the NFL over the last decade.

Weather appears to not be a factor... I like the Saints. 9ers run game is overrated IMHO and there is no way Smith is able to carry the team to a W. Saints might not cover, but they'll scratch out the W.

I wasn't thinking the weather would give the Saints problems. My reasoning is the Saints defense plays much tougher at home than on the road.

And, the other divisions just have a very poor record traveling West. The NFC West has won 6 straight games opening at home against the other divisions. Including the Hags beating the Saints last year.

Depends. If the Broncos and Giants win, then yes. If the Niners have to go to Green Bay, I think they will lose.

Unfortunately, I think it has set up really well for the Pats to make it from the AFC.

Saints Patriots was my thought....but I would rather see Houston or Baltimore than NE....

Packers look to have recovered well from their injuries though, so they cannot be written off.......the Saints are peaking at the right time though.

That first fumble looked like it was the result of a helmet-to-helmet hit. Pierre Thomas looked out cold as he dropped to the ground and never attempted to reach for the loose ball, etc. He looked like a rag doll and nearly landed on the ball.

Reminded me of all those fumbles SF forced against us on MNF two years ago. Brutal brutal defense against the run.

Definitely the Niners defense has set the tone in this thing. Its still anyone's game but the Niners are really making a statement so far. I kind of want to throw up in my mouth when I see those fools dancing around out there though.
