The most interesting visuals occurred at the conclusion of practice. Quarterback Alex Smith, receivers Michael Crabtree, Josh Morgan and Ted Ginn, running back Frank Gore and tight end Vernon Davis formed a circle and spent about 10 minutes just talking after practice.

"Alex has clearly gotten better"....."Alex had some mechanical flaws but has gotten better and corrected. It's all mental now and up to him take command of this offense...if it happens this offense can be explosive!!

Yeah, Carroll sucks. Here's proof!

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll referred to likely Week 1 starting LT Tyler Polumbus as "Troy" four times in Wednesday's press conference.

Just the situation into perspective. Polumbus graded out as one of the NFL's poorest tackles regardless of side last season. The 49ers' defense is a highly recommended Week 1 fantasy start. Matt Hasselbeck isn't.

I would crash my Hyundai Santa Fe so hard into that truck and I wouldn't care that I'd have to take a 2-hour bus ride to and from work everyday. Seriously. Kinda.

I hate the 49ers and the media love they are getting. I sincerely hope the Seahawks beat them in the final seconds of the game so everyone that is singing the niners praises can shut the hell up.

Didn't watch the game..(work)..however followed whatever i could on gamecast....alex started of the first quarter 9/10....then it all fell apart. I stopped watching when it was 6-0.
