Kellen Winslow will never be the player he thinks he is.
He is among the best TEs in football in his first year playing at this level leading the league in receptions among TEs and third in the NFL overall. Not too sure what else you expect out of him.

I'd love to trade Edge......but he wouldn't garner anything more than a 3rd rounder.
If we got offered a third rounder we'd jump on it and if we did not then Edge and his agent would force us into accepting it.

Chris Simms is done. TB will be in the market for a new QB next year. Gradkowski isn't the answer.

Plummmer will fool someone into thinking of him as a 1st stringer next year......once again, he'll score another payday.

It's a safe bet that these two thoughts might become connected during the offseason. Gruden loves veterans and wants mobile quarterbacks.

Leftwich will probably be traded this year. He's a better passer than Garrard but doesn't have the same knack for winning games. I wonder where he'll end up. I think he'd be more successful if he shortened up his throwing motion. He needs a team with an OL good enough to protect him.

.

I was kind of hoping he'd jump 18 buses in Las Vegas, possibly try to jump Snake River Canyon.

:D

Agreed, he's having a terrific year, glad to see him finally healthy.

Wow.

He just returned a missed Giants' field goal attempt for 108 yards, tying the longest play in NFL history.

:thud:

That was freaking SIIIIIICK.

OMG.

He's a monster returner, and very well deserves the record. And he's the reason they won this game...and oh yeah, the game against us too.

What a great returner...and he's only going to get better and he may even become a good receiver too. YIKES!

Good, now maybe all the stupid football pundits will quit saying the Giants are the class of the NFC...

The NFC overall is just plain mediocre and no team is really that good, no team...

After the 4 division leaders, there are --something like-- four 5-4 teams, one team at 4-4, and four teams at 4-5.

Devin Hester is scary as a return man...wow.

Duh.

This is the Colts year...yes, they have played close games against some subpar teams (Titans come to mind) but they have found a way to win. Addai is a good runner and he had an incredible run last night that should have been a 1 yard loss that he turned into a 12 yard gain. That offense just keeps clicking, and Peyton gets incredible protection...you can't give a guy like that so much time if you are a defense, unless you just WANT to lose.

:D

So long as we're patting ourselves on the back...
- The Bears are really, really good despite people calling for their downfall. They play defense and run the ball extremely well and have a fair-enough pass offense.
- Peyton Manning is a demi-god. When he wins his first SB (by beating the Bears) this year, he'll be a full-fledged god.

Isn't he a DB?

I think when I wrote that the announcers were talking about the idea of converting him to WR to get him more touches. Similar to what OSU did to Ted Ginn who came into college as a DB but was so electrifying that they wanted him to learn to play WR to maximize his touches.

Hester is a DB though.
