They are what their record says they are
I don't think they're even as good as their 2-3 record.
The Athletic calculated each team's strength of schedule, not based on last season's win-loss record, this season's projected win totals, or current win-loss record, but based on each team's Super Bowl odds.
Prior to facing the team with the worst Super Bowl odds in the league, the Cardinals already had the
2nd easiest schedule.
Prior to week 5, they had the
5th hardest remaining schedule.
They haven't yet published their updated schedule strengths after week 5, but it's reasonable to assume that after playing the Titans, they now have the easiest schedule of games played, and the hardest remaining schedule.
Yet even after playing a cream puff schedule, including the 49ers with half their team missing, they're ranked 23rd (points) and 26th (yards) on offense, and 4th (points) and 21st (yards) on defense.
(Somehow the Cardinals still have
200:1 odds of winning the Super Bowl.)
If they won 40% of their games vs. the easiest schedule in the league, how will they do against the hardest remaining schedule? They'd need to become a much better team to do so.
