Make one of 3 catches in SF - win game (either MHJ, DeMarDumbo or Zay Jones)

Make one less stupid play against TN - win the game (DeMarDumbo, Rabbit, botched snap count and coaches freezing on 3rd and 8 by running the damn ball)

Maddening team

They are what their record says they are

We’re about the same from being 0-5.

Good teams don’t let opponents like the Saints, Titans, and Panthers hang around.

We’re not the Jets or the Giants, but we are not who we thought we were, either.

beat me to it

the Cards were a pass breakup from going into OT vs the Saints -- and thats a coin flip at that point

The Panthers had the ball at mid field or so with plenty of time to score the winning TD

I don't think they're even as good as their 2-3 record.

The Athletic calculated each team's strength of schedule, not based on last season's win-loss record, this season's projected win totals, or current win-loss record, but based on each team's Super Bowl odds.

Prior to facing the team with the worst Super Bowl odds in the league, the Cardinals already had the 2nd easiest schedule. Prior to week 5, they had the 5th hardest remaining schedule.

They haven't yet published their updated schedule strengths after week 5, but it's reasonable to assume that after playing the Titans, they now have the easiest schedule of games played, and the hardest remaining schedule.

Yet even after playing a cream puff schedule, including the 49ers with half their team missing, they're ranked 23rd (points) and 26th (yards) on offense, and 4th (points) and 21st (yards) on defense.

(Somehow the Cardinals still have 200:1 odds of winning the Super Bowl.)

If they won 40% of their games vs. the easiest schedule in the league, how will they do against the hardest remaining schedule? They'd need to become a much better team to do so.

You play not to lose - and you usually lose

Could be 0-5, should be 4-1

They were outplayed in Seattle game lucky to be in it frankly, so I consider it a legit loss

If you play prevent defense and offense, it prevents you from winning

The Kansas City Chiefs are 2-3 also.

Just last year they suffered their third loss in the Super Bowl. They had a record 11 one score games and won 8 of them, IIRC.
