2. Bundesliga Preview: SV Elversberg vs. Arminia Bielefeld
Third-placed Elversberg host fourth-from-bottom Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday afternoon in 2. Bundesliga. Mitch Kniat’s side ended their three-game losing streak last week against promotion hopefuls Paderborn.
Meanwhile, Elversberg’s excellent form came to halt with the 2-0 defeat away at Greuther Fürth. However, the perennial overachievers could go top with a win here before the Topspiel between Darmstadt and Schalke later on Saturday.
Joel Grodowski, who scored the opener in last week's roller-coaster draw with Paderborn, got the first goal when the sides met for the first time in the reverse fixture. Florian Le Joncour's own-goal secured a 2-0 win for the newly-promoted side as Elversberg are waiting for their first strike in this fixture.
