SALEM, VA (WFXR) — The Roanoke College men’s basketball team defeated Averett University 68-46 Friday evening in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) contest. The Maroons have now won six-straight games and are ranked No. 17 this week by D3hoops.com. The Roanoke defense held the Cougars to just 27.8 percent (15-54) shooting for the game and held a 50-34 rebounding edge.
