Even with a formal rejection of #MLB's proposal to delay the season, the union and MLB still have until opening day to reach a potential agreement on the universal DH and expanded playoffs. They reached an agreement just hours before opening day last season.

The stupidest thing about all of this is that this is the last season with the current labor agreement. The main reason the players are fighting against this is because they want to use these as negotiation points in the next collective bargaining agreement.

Expect a very long lockout.
