The Ohio Prep Sports Media Association (OPSMA) announced its 2026 Division IV, V, VI and VII All-Ohio recipients for boys basketball on Wednesday afternoon, with a total of 13 Scioto County boys basketball players earning All-Ohio accolades between Divisions V through VII as announced by officials within the association and the OHSAA.
West, who finished 19-7, won its first district championship since 1985 and advanced to the regional finals for the first time in program history, led the way with two key figures being honored with top-notch accolades.
Will Kegley, who averaged 22.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.6 steals and 2.8 assists per game, was named as a First-Team All-Ohio honoree in Division VI after leading the Senators to its historic run.
Joining Kegley on the list was West head coach Caleb McClanahan, who was named as the OHSAA Division VI State Coach of the Year. McClanahan led West to 11 consecutive victories en route to guiding the Senators to a OHSAA Division VI Regional Final appearance.
Along with the duo, West's Logan McIntire earned Honorable Mention All-Ohio honors at the Division VI realm alongside Valley's Christian Copen.
In Division V, four players were named All-Ohio — two each from Portsmouth and Wheelersburg. Wheelersburg's Braylon Rucker, who averaged 16.9 points per contest, was named Special Mention All-Ohio, while Landon McGraw, who averaged 11.6 points per outing, joined him as an Honorable Mention All-Ohio selection. Portsmouth teammates Daequan Woods and Connie Thomas were also named Honorable Mention All-Ohio selections after averaging 16 and 15 points per contest, respectively.
