Toms River has reached championship weekend at the Little League Softball World Series in North Carolina.

Jaelyn Brown hurled a three-hit shutout with five strikeouts Friday night as Toms River notched 4–0 elimination-game victory Puerto Rico, at the World Series in Greenville, North Carolina.

On Saturday the Toms River All-Stars take on Kentucky at 3 p.m. in the Orange Bracket final.
