Maybe he should consider calming down?
Good point, JL. I had not even thought about that. Right now Atlanta is at #8. The rest of the way they have two games against the Saints, one against the Jets, and obviously one against the Cardinals. That seems like the games they have a realistic chance to win.God forbids the Rams take our qb right before we pick. The falcons KEEP losing, they are doing what Houston was supposed to do when we had their pick.
I actually agree with that. I just think it is very unlikely that he will suppleant Harrison now, so I consider him a #3.As far as #8 -- I think Wilson showed he deserves to be higher in the pecking order than MHJ. He was consistently getting open and making contested catches. Those are things MHJ hasn't done consistently well.
Yes, that is true. Right now, only Las Vegas has a slightly higher SOS in the top ten, and they have games coming up against the Browns, the Giants, and the Texans which will not exactly make their schedule tougher. Chargers, Broncos, Chiefs, Eagles will, though.10 - We are consistently screwed by strength of schedule in that any other team with the same W/L record will pick before us. Not helped by having three strong teams in our division.
Yes, I have also considered him an option. Since he was brought in by Wilks, I have read many articles that speak well of him, and that’s pretty much what we have to go by. And also just the fact that he has been retained by both Kingsbury and Gannon speaks volume, I think. Do you see anyone else on the staff taking over as interim?Jeff Rodgers? The Special Teams coach whose team can’t figure out the new rules!?
Huh? Not to make this a draft thread, but you don’t think Simpson is at the level of Mac Jones? I think he is clearly better. To me it is a bit of a toss-up between him and Bryce Young, and I don’t know that any of them are worthy of the #1 overall pick. That said, I would be excited to draft Simpson.Kyler Murray might actually have trade value. Ty Simpson isn't even close to being in the same tier as Mac Jones or Bryce Young as a prospect, meanwhile Mendoza might be good enough to become Jacoby Brissett in a few years.
Every week of CFB I am more and more sure that all the college QBs coming out are complete garbage. But I'm sure these guys will be overdrafted, so many teams need a QB, so many teams have guys on rookie contracts that are very obviously bad.
Ah, okay. Thank you.7 it’s a gang sign for threat to kill; wipe you out.
Sure, but as #1, #2 or #3? I think it would be fine with a speedster as a #4. Like a decoy. Do you think it needs to be someone with a bigger role than that on the offense?8 - None of those guys is fast though. I think that's the type of wide receiver the offense could use.
I was thinking of a speedster as the #3 wide receiver, maybe someone who can potentially challenge for the #2 wide receiver position in time.Sure, but as #1, #2 or #3? Mitch is the only only I'd argue here. Not even argue, but debate.I mean. No one makes you say this. He can be a good backup without engaging in ridiculous hyperbole.
Mitch Trubisky (BUF), Marcus Mariota (WAS), Kirk Cousins (ATL), Mack Jones (SF), and Jimmy Garappolo are all better backups to Brissett. There are probably five more you can legitimately argue are better than him.
Apparently, it is called the Slime gesture, but I am not sure why since you are correct in the meaning.7 it’s a gang sign for threat to kill; wipe you out.
Did SF really go for 2 pt conversion up 41-16?
The NFL notified all teams a number of gestures would be subject to penalties. This one is on the list. How do we know he wasn't doing the "Dirty San****" gesture?
In either case, it was BS. We see similar things from multiple players every week.
Having such subjective rules is the reason there is so much talk about rigged games. These refs can control momentum on a whim.
I’d love to see that list because I have seen many players do the nose wipe without penaltyThe NFL notified all teams a number of gestures would be subject to penalties. This one is on the list.

Sure, but then you are pushing Wilson down as a #4?I was thinking of a speedster as the #3 wide receiver, maybe someone who can potentially challenge for the #2 wide receiver position in time.
I'm thinking of the receiving order as: 1 McBride, 2 MHJ, 3 Wilson, 4 Speedster wide receiver, 5 Dortch.Sure, but then you are pushing Wilson down as a #4?
Linder looked it up during the game and apparently the nose wipe, or sniffing gesture has gang connotations with the Bloods and it is a violent gesture. Who knew the best TE in the NFL is a part of a gang?7 - Why was Trey McBride flagged for a celebration? What did he do? I mean, it looked like wiping his nose or something, but what does that mean?
