1 - Brothers, let’s pray for the Arizona Cardinals.

2 - I literally told my wife before the game that anything other than a humiliation would be acceptable. Well…

3 - After this unorganized and undisciplined performance, it is fair to wonder if Gannon has lost the locker room.

4 - Brissett is a great backup QB. Arguably the best in the NFL. He is not a starter, though.

Which, by the way, creates a peculiar paradox, because the more quarterbacks that enter the draft, the bigger is the likelihood that the Cardinals will get a good one. On the other hand, the fewer quarterbacks that enter the draft, the more value Kyler Murray has in a trade - value that could help the Cards get the QB they want in the draft.

5 - What an impressive play by Kei’Trel Clark on the opening kick off return to sprint from far away to save the touchdown. Obviously it didn’t matter much, but at least it was nice to see.

6 - What an impressive play by Brissett on the pick six to sprint from the crime scene to try to tackle the defender. Obviously it didn’t matter, but at least it was nice to see.

7 - Why was Trey McBride flagged for a celebration? What did he do? I mean, it looked like wiping his nose or something, but what does that mean?

8 - Most of us have been screaming for a new wide receiver since after last season, but maybe Michael Wilson is that guy? He proved he is a quality #3 behind McBride and Harrison.

9 - Back then, I thought that Jeff Rodgers should have been a candidate to replace both Steve Wilks and later Kliff Kingsbury, at least as interim HC during the season. Well, now I think the same again.

10 - Right now they are picking #10 in the draft, but I would argue that they are at least one of the five worst teams in the NFL. According to the Athletic before this round, the Cards had a 23% chance of getting a top five pick, while according to ESPN they had a 16% chance. I obviously don’t know the numbers after this week, but that sucks.

As far as #8 -- I think Wilson showed he deserves to be higher in the pecking order than MHJ. He was consistently getting open and making contested catches. Those are things MHJ hasn't done consistently well.

10 - We are consistently screwed by strength of schedule in that any other team with the same W/L record will pick before us. Not helped by having three strong teams in our division.

7. It looked like the typical first down gesture, but maybe it was something more sinister

7. I’m guessing they thought he was doing the throat slashing gesture. It’s the only reason why that flag is thrown

10. If we lose out (highly probable) we’ll have a top 5 pick. A lot of the other bad teams play each other so there will be some wins there. Biggest possible wins for us are Atlanta now that Pennix is out and maybe the Bengals if they sit Burrow?

Kyler Murray might actually have trade value. Ty Simpson isn't even close to being in the same tier as Mac Jones or Bryce Young as a prospect, meanwhile Mendoza might be good enough to become Jacoby Brissett in a few years.

Every week of CFB I am more and more sure that all the college QBs coming out are complete garbage. But I'm sure these guys will be overdrafted, so many teams need a QB, so many teams have guys on rookie contracts that are very obviously bad.

I mean. No one makes you say this. He can be a good backup without engaging in ridiculous hyperbole.

Mitch Trubisky (BUF), Marcus Mariota (WAS), Kirk Cousins (ATL), Mack Jones (SF), and Jimmy Garappolo are all better backups to Brissett. There are probably five more you can legitimately argue are better than him.

Mariota? Jimmy? Trubisky? Cousins? Bruh...you can't be serious.

Absolutely. Mariota was a top pick and wins games. The rest have all been to the playoffs. One started in the Super Bowl.

Good facts though. Strong argument.

Mariota wins games? He's 1-4 in games he's started this year.
Cousins is a shell of himself and can barely crack a 30 QBR anymore.
Who cares what these guys did a decade ago. Might as well bring back Nick Foles at that point.

8 - None of those guys is fast though. I think that's the type of wide receiver the offense could use.

How do we know he wasn't doing the "Dirty San****" gesture?
In either case, it was BS. We see similar things from multiple players every week.
Having such subjective rules is the reason there is so much talk about rigged games. These refs can control momentum on a whim.
