The Ravens (8-9) have cleaned out their lockers and begun preparations for vacation after a 26-24 loss to the Steelers in the regular-season finale. Sunday marked the first time in the storied Baltimore-Pittsburgh rivalry that the two clubs clashed for a division championship in the final week of regular-season play, and it was an instant classic that'll be discussed for years to come. It was also the fourth loss of the season in a game decided by 5 points or less. The Ravens will initially have 22 unrestricted free agents, according to Over The Cap, with big names like Tyler Linderbaum, Isaiah Likely, Kyle Van Noy, Dre'Mont Jones, Alohi Gilman, Chidobe Awuzie, and Ar'Darius Washington among those Eric DeCosta will have to decide on.

Odafe Oweh was one of the biggest names on the list, but he was traded, while Kyle Hamilon and Mark Andrews signed huge contract extensions. One of the biggest complaints of owner Steve Bisciotti was that key Ravens not improving over time.

The Ravens players were not improving

Damn. Bisciotti just laid into coaching as a factor for lack of player development. He pointed to the offensive line.

I’ve been saying that’s a factor not given enough attention. Glad he spoke up about it. #Ravens#RavensFlock

Regression is unavoidable within a roster. But Baltimore had too many underperformances from key players in 2025.

Here's a closer look at the players who regressed most for the Ravens in 2025, using individual overall grades from Pro Football Focus as our guide:

QB Lamar Jackson

2024 PFF grade: 94.0 NFL rank: 1st

2025 PFF grade: 74.0 NFL rank: 20th

After a near-MVP season in 2024, Jackson was battered and missed four games, going 192-302 passing (63.6 completion percentage) for 2,549 yards (196.1 per game), 21 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, and a 103.8 passer rating.

RB Derrick Henry

2024 PFF grade: 94.1 NFL rank: 1st

2025 PFF grade: 80.4 NFL rank: 14th

Only Jonathan Taylor, Christian McCaffrey, and James Cook had more carries than Henry, and his 1,595 rushing yards were second in the NFL.

RB Justice Hill

2024 PFF grade: 77.8 NFL rank: 15th

2025 PFF grade: 63.7 NFL rank: N/A

WR Rashod Bateman

2024 PFF grade: 70.0 NFL rank: 57th

2025 PFF grade: 55.0 NFL rank: 117th

The veteran wide receiver had a down year and even missed the AFC North title game with an illness. After a career year in 2024, Bateman finished with 13 games played, 12 starts, 38 targets, 19 receptions, 224 yards receiving, and two touchdowns.

TE Mark Andrews

2024 PFF grade: 83.8 NFL rank: 4th

2025 PFF grade: 64.4 NFL rank: 36th

TE Isaiah Likely

2024 PFF grade: 72.3 NFL rank: 14th

2025 PFF grade: 56.4 NFL rank: 61st

Likely had his training camp derailed by a broken foot, and it was inconsistent from there. His training camp was cut short after he broke his foot in late July during a one-on-one drill. He missed the start of the season and finished with 27 catches on 36 targets for 307 yards, all career lows.

OL Daniel Faalele

Daniel Faalele 2024 PFF grade: 60.5 NFL rank: 49th

2025 PFF grade: 57.2 NFL rank: 53rd

OLB Kyle Van Noy

2024 PFF grade: 75.8 NFL rank: 24th

2024 PFF grade: 61.7 NFL rank: 75th

Van Noy, 34, just finished his third season in Baltimore and dropped from 12 1/2 sacks in 2024 to two in 2025.

OLB Tavius Robinson

2024 PFF grade: 62.0 NFL rank: 68th

2025 PFF grade: 50.3 NFL rank: 110th

CB Marlon Humphrey

2024 PFF grade: 79.0 NFL rank: 6th

2025 PFF grade: 49.9 NFL rank: 104th

Humphrey had the biggest regression, going from an All-Pro season in 2024 to one of the lowest graded players at his position.

CB Nate Wiggins

2024 PFF grade: 72.6 NFL rank: 23rd

2025 PFF grade: 65.7 NFL rank: 44th
