Bayern Munich has been heavily involved in the transfer market ahead of the World Cup and one number has been in play for three of its pursuits — €10 million.
€10 million was the amount that FC Barcelona added into the Anthony Gordon deal to push Bayern Munich out of the running, while €10 million was also the figure which apparently propelled the Bavarians to exit the conversation on Kennet Eichhorn as well.
Now, €10 million is the difference between what Eintracht Frankfurt wants for Nathaniel Brown and what Bayern Munich is willing to pay per Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg:
More on our exclusive news: Max Eberl has informed Markus Krösche within the last 24 hours that FC Bayern want to sign Nathaniel Brown.
Eintracht demanding up to €60m. Bayern’s valuation is closer to €50m.
The relationship between Eberl/Krösche and Hellmann/Dreesen remains very good, which could help the negotiations. Brown is waiting for an agreement and remains relaxed about the situation. @SkySportDE
€10 million is not an insurmountable number, but Bayern Munich has not proven to be very flexible in these instances, either. Stay tuned!
