Summary: When you see the tat and the hair you may think Caleb “Maui” instead of “Matelau” and it doesn’t do harm to the rumor when we see him shape-shift between linebacker and his special teams role. Caleb is gearing up for his second season with the Cards and is looking to build upon the opportunities he got last year and step into a larger role.
Matelau was the not only causing offenses problems back in high school, but he was tossing around both the discus and the javelin (you’re never beating those Maui allegations my man). In 2026 Caleb is trying to crack into the two deep rotation in the middle and get some playing time accumulated as he stares down the opportunity to compete with some veterans in terms of experience but some guys who are also just two or three seasons into the mix. Go do work big man, flex on ‘em.
