Summary: Lubin slid right into the gap in 2025, picking up where he left off at Coastal, and making the edge a slippery spot for opposing tackles to try and defend. The new addition not only made his mark, he made a name for himself among Cardinals fan across the country.
After a stellar 2025, which saw him grab 61 tackles, and pull in a team leading 13.5 TFL and a team leading 8.5 sacks, the man had little more to prove….unless of course you want to mention his team leading seven QB hurries or team leading three forced fumbles. He was everywhere, and earned All-ACC honors for his efforts on the edge, placing only behind a few guys that just got their named called in the NFL Draft. Heading into 2026 its hyperbole to say “the defense goes how Clev goes” but he will be a massive part of the equation. Even if teams try and double him, it should open the door for the other edge or the tackle to make plays. While his stats from last year jump off the page, his impact goes much further than what we can read on paper. Clev returning for 2026 was worthy of celebration, and his jersey sales in the offseason continue to increase. I guess you could say the fan base will be Lubin up for another big year.
