Scottie Pippen explains why he ranks himself ahead of LeBron James​

Speaking on the PBD Podcast, Pippen made his stance clear when asked to compare himself to LeBron.

He said: ‘My success as a team is more successful than LeBron. I’ve got six rings.’

Pippen doubled down when the conversation shifted towards what teams value most.

‘I don’t know… Do you want individual accolades, or do you want championships? Because I didn’t chase mine,’ he added.

That comment has been widely interpreted as a subtle dig at LeBron James and the narrative around his career decisions.

Pippen’s argument centres on team success.


During his time in Chicago, he played a key role in helping the Bulls secure six championships, establishing one of the most successful eras in NBA history.

While Michael Jordan was the face of that team, Pippen’s impact alongside him remains undeniable.
