Joaquin Niemann has revealed what it was like to meet United States President Donald Trump after winning LIV Golf New York.
Niemann won the tournament at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster by three strokes over Harold Varner III.
The 27-year-old has now won nine times in the LIV Golf league, more than any other player, including Bryson DeChambeau (5).
Niemann’s latest victory may have been particularly rewarding as he had the opportunity to speak with Trump afterwards.
The Chilean golfer only had positive things to say about the US President following their interaction in Bedminster on Sunday

Joaquin Niemann shares impressions of meeting Donald Trump after LIV Golf victory
Joaquin Niemann said it was “really special” to have Donald Trump in attendance for his victory at LIV Golf New York.
Trump has been a huge supporter of the LIV Golf league, with several of his golf courses hosting events over the years.
The US President also loves to play golf and certainly conveyed his passion for the sport to Niemann in their conversation.
Niemann explained: “Yeah, it was really special to have Mr. President come in and see us. He loves golf. He definitely loves it. He loved us as well.”
Meanwhile, the nine-time LIV Golf winner thanked Trump for ensuring that the players are well looked after at his golf courses.
Niemann added: “It’s very nice the way that the whole family treats us, the players, the pros, the team, the amenities they have at the golf courses, the facilities, the food, everything is amazing.
“It just shows how much it matters for him to be out here, especially how busy he is. Just for me, there’s a lot of appreciation for him just having his presence here.”
Trump also spoke to major champion Gary Player and former LIV Golf chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan at the course in Bedminster.
