'Delusional' -- Udonis Haslem Unloads on Draymond Green After Warriors Star's Blunt Call-Out Over Bam Adebayo-Tyler Herro Altercation
Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro aren’t the only ones throwing punches this weekend. Four-time NBA champion Draymond Green and Miami Heat legend Udonis Haslem are also trading haymakers, only this altercation is taking place on social media.
Draymond Green & Udonis Haslem Call Each Other Out After Summer League Altercation
On Sunday’s episode of The Draymond Green Show, Green discussed the recent altercation between Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro, sharing his own experience getting into it with a teammate and revealing what bothered him most about the incident.
“I remember when I got into it with Poole… I remember one person, when the Jordan Poole incident happened with me, who was really, really outspoken about it, and it really bothered me, was Udonis Haslem,” Green said.
“I saw Haslem get into it with guys on teams that was younger than him before. Ala Jimmy Butler. Then he came out like, ‘That’s ridiculous! You get into it with your young guy I would never. I can’t believe you did that…'”
“So when I first saw this, I was like, damn. This is two young guys Udonis Haslem raised. If you raised this young guy in the light of what you was saying about me, and now he punches this other young guy, that y’all kind of co-raised, are you going to have that same energy?”

Haslem, who mentored and played alongside both Adebayo and Herro since the two entered the league in 2017 and 2019, respectively, and until the Heat captain retired in 2023, wasted little to no time before firing back at Green.
“@Money23Green I see some things just don’t change. lol,” Haslem wrote on X. “You was on sucka [expletive] four years ago when you swung on Jordan Poole, and you on sucka [expletive] now. I usually don’t engage, but since you went so far left to get my attention here it is!!!”
“If you think your big 32 year old, 3 or 4 rings at the time having [expletive] swinging on a 23 year old Jordan Poole at the time is the same then you are even more delusional that I thought,” he added.
Green suggests that Haslem’s mentorship style played a factor in Adebayo ultimately striking Herro. However, the 20-year Heat veteran set the record straight and explained why he believes the situations are not comparable.
Whether or not Green responds to Haslem once more remains to be seen, but re-signing with Golden State this offseason should continue to be his main priority.
