Caitlin Clark hasn’t let any of the outside noise affect her game on the hardwood one bit. Paige Bueckers matched the Fever superstar’s intensity from the get-go as well in a tight Fever-Wings bout on Friday.

The WNBA world was treated to quite the spectacle tonight as they fixated on a particularly brilliant third quarter from the two stellar guards.

WNBA Fans Erupt as Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers Go Off During Fever-Wings

CC went ballistic in the third quarter tonight. She dropped 17 points in this 10-minute period alone after an ankle injury scare earlier. Bueckers was no scrub in the third either. While she didn’t have as many points as Caitlin, she dropped a respectable 13 points.

Hoops fans couldn’t contain their excitement upon seeing these titans of women’s basketball go at it not only for a quarter but over the course of an entire game.

“Caitlin Clark is a generational talent,” ESPN’s Sam Block wrote.

LeBron’s close friend, CuffstheLegend, took to X to say, “Clark & Bueckers going band for band giving us a midrange pull up jumper clinic right now.”

He thenrequested fans to stay in the moment and appreciate the two young stars.

“These two killers are so SKILLED!! And SUPER COMPETITIVE! Cherish these moments!”

Another X user, right after her explosive third quarter, wrote, “Y’all allowed Caitlin Clark to master the act and art of midranges… It’s all over for you in the W now. With her passing, 3s and now midranges, nothing is stopping her.”

That same fan also bluntly added, “The best 3rd quarter I’ve ever seen in WNBA.”

Clark ended the game with a brilliant 29 points and 10 assists in the Fever’s 98-87 win over Dallas. The Fever star now has 13 games with 25+ points and 10+ assists. The next-closest in WNBA history is Sabrina Ionescu, with six such games.

Bueckers also recorded 29 points while dropping 6 assists, grabbed 6 rebounds, and nabbed 2 steals.

It’s quite evident that Bueckers and CC are the future of the league. In fact, many fans and pundits are confident that they’ve already proven themselves to be two of the heaviest hitters in the WNBA.
