Sandwich chain Subway will be sold to fast-food investor Roark Capital

My first time at Mike’s I was intrigued by Mike’s Way so I got it (sans onions). I was sure it was too much liquid because it looks like they just douse the sandwich. Surely the bread would be soaked and fall apart. But I was dead wrong, and I really like their sandwiches. I don’t get how it...

    Star Wars: Ahsoka (Disney+)

I don’t trust them to get anything right, and I believe bringing him into advise is not much more than a courtesy. They can do anything with the character that they want. You of course could be right, and real SW fans would certainly hope so. But their track record thus far is abysmal.

    Star Wars: Ahsoka (Disney+)

The Thrawn trilogy happened 5 years after RotJ, and Ahsoka is older than Luke. Even if you take the time frame this is supposedly happening in DSW Luke is still in his prime. Oh, and there is such a thing as recasting. This isn’t about white frightists (whatever that is), this is about...

    Snow White (live action)

It's racist and sexist to point out that a movie based on a 19th century German folktale is race swapping for intersectional points? Someone is racist for pointing it out, and indicating that once again Disney is going to produce someone no one wants to see and will lose lots of money? I...

    Snow White (live action)

It's impossible to figure out just why Disney is losing hundreds of millions of dollars on their movies. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-12298801/EXCLUSIVE-Snow-White-Seven-Politically-Correct-Companions.html

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

Indiana Jake and the Diaper of Dysentery fell to #2 in only it's second weekend. Despite being on 1,412 fewer screens, Insidious: The Red Door claimed the top spot with $33M and a $10,355 per theater average. Indiana Jake fell 55% to grab only $27.4M with a $5,961 per theater average. Almost...

    Sound Of Freedom

Indiana Jake made $26.5M on 4,600 screens. Sound of Freedom made $18.2M on 2,852 screens. Not sure how that works out to 3x. Also, Sound of Freedom make $6,388/screen while Indiana Jake made $5,760/screen. So, Sound of Freedom is making more money per screen.

    Sound Of Freedom

It was actually made by 20th Century Fox years ago. Disney refused to release the movie and the production company bought it from them.

    Sound Of Freedom

All of the media has their talking points they are dispersing. So much jouranlisming. Hollywood doesn't seem to want to give this issue exposure. Probably hits a bit close to home.

    Sound Of Freedom

Sound of Freedom beat Indiana Jake and the Insufferable Girlboss on July 4. It earned $14.2M versus $11.6M, despite being in almost 2,000 less theaters. https://boundingintocomics.com/2023/07/05/sound-of-freedom-defeats-indiana-jones-and-the-dial-of-destiny-at-the-box-office-on-independence-day/

    Best Pizza in the Valley

WAY back when, there was a place in Phoenix called Franks. I think on Indian School? They had "The Deal". It was a large 1-topping pizza and 50 wings for $20. Best damn deal in the valley and the wings were no joke. Also, when I was a kid our end-of-season soccer league party was always...

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

I don't have to see something to know it sucks. I don't have to walk on the surface of the sun to know it's hot. I take in loads of data and collate it and then offer an opinion based on it all. That it doesn't comport to your viewpoint doesn't mean it's not valid or even wrong. I'm sure you...

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

Okay, I'll answer your question. This film is garbage. It is a purposeful, deliberate attempt to destroy a beloved IP and a vengeful attack on those who love it. It is going to lose hundreds of millions of dollars and I will relish in it all. I'm here to celebrate that. I'm only negative to...

Best Mexican Food in the Valley

I am going to RELISH going back to AZ (most likely) and be able to eat real Mexican food again. But I'm pissed. I've worked hard to lose over 50 pounds in the last year and it's going to suck getting a lot of it back.

    Tron: Ares (aka Tron 3)

This is going to be so bad, and I hate it. Then again, it fits with the Disney modus operandi of destroying cherished IP’s. The sequel should be a direct follow up to Legacy with Sam Flynn, Quorra, and Alan Bradley You don’t need creepy Jared Leto in it, you already had an AWESOME villain...
