    Teams inquire on Giricek

I think that you are totally wrong here. Brewer is a good defender. Giricek is a poor one.

Jason Kidd possibly on strike, sits out, allegedly demands trade

I think that the Lakers have much more desireable trade assets for the Nets if they really would like to make the deal. They have a big expiring contract in Brown, a very young, promising PG in Farmar, a young C in Bynum (although they want to keep him) and even a servicable player with big...

Jason Kidd possibly on strike, sits out, allegedly demands trade

The problem is that the Mavs don't really have assets to acquire Kidd. I agree that they won't give Howard (besides next to Jefferson and Carter the last thing the Nets would need is another SF/SG), Harris is a solid prospect but not a distributor and Dallas doesn't have any big expiring or...

    Jordan Farmar

That's one of the reasons why I love Marion. My english is terrible but Marion always surprises me that I don't understand a single word from his interviews. He has so freaking accent that sometimes I don't even understand the questions...

    Jordan Farmar

Am I the only one who thinks that Jordan Farmar would be an excellent backup PG for the Suns? He pushes the ball, his quickness, explosiveness and leaping ability improved a lot since last season, now phisically he is a good up-and-down PG even by Suns-standards an he is an improving (albeit...

Buyout Marbury - Bring Back To Phoenix!

Only in the regular season games (not in the play-off) and rather in offense. I remember that Parker told in 2002 that Marbury is his least-wanted opponent because he is too strong for himr. As someone wrote earlier, times and roles can change (and I seriously think not only times but...

We need to make a trade...

Collison's contract is already extended. I agree that Jeff Green and Marion could build a future very good uptempo F combo. Green is versatile and easily can play PF, has post post-up moves, he is a solid rebounder and passer. He is quiet similar to Diaw.

    Suns at Heat Thread

Everyone is entitled to find out who has excuses and who hasn't. However the fact is that Diaw plain and simple did a much better job on Shaq than Amare did plus he at least moved the ball while Amare tried to make some very weak moves and constantly failed to score. If Amare is indeed...

We need to make a trade...

The problem is not at Seattle but at Phoenix. Collison and Wilcox are just not worth Marion, especially not for the Suns.

We need to make a trade...

I'm not sure. Banks is younger and more healthy than Foster, and his contract isn't much worse either. Furthermore Tinsley is fragile and heavily underachieving. That would be one of the stupidest moves ever. Sacrifying two 1st rounders for swapping Thomas to a weaker player with a...

We need to make a trade...

Yes, if the Pacers trade O'Neal, Foster might be available. He is a more mobile version of Kurt Thomas without a midrange J. Banks, Piatkowski for Foster works under the cap and makes sense for both teams.

Yes, it was. Stoudemire allowed Shaq to get a position wherever he wanted.

    Suns at Heat Thread

Diaw-haters should not forget how much the Suns were better when Diaw replaced Amare. At least Diaw played D on Shaq and wasn't an absolute blackhole in offense. Based on the 1st games of the season Amare is the 1st and only one who should get traded.

A Few Deals/Observations of the Suns

Collison's and Wilcox's combined defense is still much less than Marion's. Wilcox is pretty much the rebounder-clone of Amare: great leaper but doesn't box out. In offense he is a poor man's Amare. Barbosa is better than Ridnour. We give the ATL pick too, I have no idea why. Very...

Marion Trades: To Just About Every Team

Some solid ideas. 1. If we have to deal Marion to the Lakers, at least switch Cook to Vujacic's expiring. 2.-3.-12. LAL won't deal Kobe, TOR won't deal Bargnani, MIL won't deal Bogut and the Bucks would loose their entire frontcourt. 4. Wilcox is too similar to Amare, Wally is damaged...

    PHX/WAS proposal

I would twist the Wizards-trade: Marion, Banks for Butler, Daniels, Haywood Marion is better than Butler but the difference isn't drastic, Daniels is a better backup PG than Banks and Haywood's basketball IQ may rise from zero in Phoenix.

"Marion would welcome trade to Lakers"

Because he was my favourite Phoenix Sun behind Nash and now he will leave the team because he wants to do so. I meant that despite the fact that he wants out he still is the best complementary player ever for the Suns in my eyes. Who cares about next season when our championship window...

"Marion would welcome trade to Lakers"

Shawn Marion is my biggest personal disappointment since (1999) I became a Suns fan. I never believed that he was indeed crying, that he wanted indeed more respect. Now that's a fact. I thought that he was/is/will be the best complementary player ever of the Suns. In my eyes he still...

New and Improved 2008 Draft Prospects Thread

At the end of last season Caracter started to show why he was praised by many people. He is big, muscular, dynamic, a good leaper and a bruiser type rebounder. He has to polish his low-post moves and add face to basket game to his arsenal but he is a promising prospect. He reminds me of Al...
