Nobody is saying the trade not fully working was unforeeseeable. There were many people on here that thought that Anderson was going to be great. Not sure anyone here said first team All-Pro though.
Speaking of the odds, most people that do this for a living thought the Houston 1st round...
Not quite. There was no way to know for sure that the trade wasn't going to work out. That's what was claimed. There was no way to know all of the factors involved.
My #1 = Kayden McDaniel DT Ohio State.
I'd actually like a trade down 3 or 4 spots because I'd be happy with any of McDaniel, Howell, Rodriguez, Tiernan etc.
I make wings every draft day. I used to go to draft day parties, but the Cards ruined that for me when I went to UoP stadium (at the time) to watch them draft Levi Brown over AP.

I don't think the Cards tried to lose those games. If that were the case, your statement is true.
Fans sometimes want their team to lose games, to make the chance of winning games happen in the future.
because there was no real elite QB sweepstakes this year? Cards never really had a chance at #1 overall (only elite QB) since Kyler got them wins at the beginning...
You also have to figure in the 'new coach bump.' It can be a thing for sure.
